Its not that Kashmiris always like to protest, leaving all their
jobs aside. Neither we like to be killed, tortured or harassed. 
Kashmiris have always been treated like step citizens. Citizens who
have no or very few rights.  I have facts that can prove this thing. I
am sure that every person will favour Kashmiris after reading my post
unless you are an Indian pseudo patriot.

From past three years, a tourism boom was witnessed, lakhs of
tourists were visiting Kashmir. Situation had normalized and everyone
was busy with his own work. As far as my information is concerned, no
protests were seen. But after a gap of three years, why did it take
such an ugly turn. This is the point to ponder. Its a well know fact
that NOBODY REACTS UNLESS PROVOKED. Same is the case here. BJP along
with its Saffron brigade, poisoned the minds of Jammuites. They raised
baseless issues of regional discrimination.  Their protest didn’t
bother us anyhow, so they needed a new tool and they enforced a
blockade. Blockade of food items, medicines and practically everything.
Shiv Sena, BJP, Bajrang Dal and VHP were the organizations who gave it
a kick start. Even the SASS joined hands with them and demanded a
separate state. They couldn’t bear people of all sorts sympathizing
Kashmiris. So, they thought of a policy reversal, they began to say
that there was no blockade and blamed the Hurriyat for spreading the
rumor. Hadn’t there been a blockade, Kashmiris needed not to march
towards AZAD KASHMIR to sell their fruit, because India is a better
market comparatively. The UPA started blaming the BJP for this march
and it was 100 percent correct in doing that. With elections coming
nearer, the BJP didn’t want to loose their vote-bank and to hide their
infelicity, they denied the enforcement of the economic blockade. In
their interviews in a news channel debate with BARKHA DUTT, they denied
everything they had done. In-order to avoid flak, they even denied of
attacking Muslims in Jammu division and forced them to admit that they
(the Muslims) weren’t attacked by anybody. I don’t blame the muslims of
Jammu because after all this they have to continue living there, and
the Saffron Brigade won’t let them live peacefully unless they admit as
the Saffron Brigade wished. All the stories regarding war against
Kashmir were slowly being modified and it saddens me when I see Indian
media blindly supporting them.

I was overjoyed when I watched THE DEVIL’S ADVOCATE with Arun
Jaitley. I now hold Mr. Karan Thapar in a great esteem, thinking that
at-least we have someone advocating our truth and BJP’s lies. In the
show, we saw Arun Jaitley literally being stripped off. His bundle of
lies couldn’t help him that moment. Arun Jaitley kept on denying of
having enforced a blockade. He also said that Kashmiris were
anti-national. Well to add to the knowledge of my readers, Kashmiri’s
went towards AZAD KASHMIR, only after all the food and medicine stocks
had ended and their fruit produce was at the verge of rotting. To bring
to your notice, we first of all approached the Indian Government first,
because we are Indian’s first. But India reminded us of an old lesson
that we were step citizens.They took no action to end the blockade
except for some meetings which were bound to lead nowhere. The only way
left was the alternative route to AZAD KASHMIR. But Indians took this
step as anti-national. It wasn’t anti-national at all, when we
approached the Indian government for help, they denied help. But when
we tried to help ourselves, they didn’t let us do the same and instead
sprayed bullets on our unarmed protesters.

July 2, 2008: Economic blockade BEGINS. BJP, VHP and Bajrang Dal block Jammu-Lakhanpur highway at various places.
SASS convener Leela Karan at a press conference in Jammu declares
Samiti’s support for economic blockade of Kashmir and also calls for a
SEPARATE JAMMU STATE.
July 3, 2008: Normal life disrupted in several states following Bharat Bandh by BJP and VHP over Amarnath land row.
Gladni Grid station in Jammu, major supplier of power to the region, suffers extensive damage in a fire incident.
July 4, 2008: Supreme Court refuses to intervene in the revocation of
land transfer order while hearing a PIL filed by the Panthers Party
supreme Prof Bhim Singh calling it a Political Interest Litigation.
July 5, 2008: BJP national President Rajnath Singh and senior leader
Arun Jaitley arrive in Jammu and extend support to the agitation
launched by SASS in protest against the cancellation of land allotted
to SASB.
July 6, 2008: SASS asks public representatives from Jammu to resign
from the Assembly and Parliament and join the movement launched by it.

If BJP again denies these statistics, then nobody can help this
country. One one hand people blindly support their HINDUTVA attitude
and on the other hand, they make tall claims of India being a SECULAR
DEMOCRACY.  I would like to share an idiom to which has been modified
to meet BJP’s ideology.
